Curry in a Hurry is a foodies dream, born out of a passion for cooking authentic Indian cuisine by multi-time award-winning chef and owner Alaksha Surti. Alaksha’s roots go back to southern India, where she grew up. She was raised in Bangalore, the third most populous city in India. Her mother and grandmothers are a large influence in her life, from whom she learned most of those authentic dishes.
We're humbled and honored by the recognition we've received over the years-from food lovers, media outlets, and organizations who share our passion for great flavor and heartfelt service. Chef Alaksha's journey from home kitchens in Bangalore to award-winning chef and food truck entrepreneur has been nothing short of inspiring, and we're so thankful for every feature, award, and shoutout along the way.
We had a little bit of everything and it was all good. My daughter even said the chicken fingers were better than chick fil a great food, great service, would totally recommend. Butter chicken was our favorite!
Went here with my mother for the first time. We were greeted by a kind man at the counter, and he explained everything they had on the menu. This place had 4 types of combo plates. The spices were really good, as much as the flavor of the meats and vegetables. It exceeded my expectations and is now my favorite Indian restaurant.
Had the lamb curry and garlic Naan at the food truck at Spring Fest. This was legit good and would definitely recommend!! Spice was just right and the flavor was amazing!!
I ordered the lamb curry from the food truck and ordered it extra spicy. Their spicy sauce was delicious I highly recommend it.
My favorite is the lambwich which has tasty meatballs in a naan with peppers and their homemade sauces. You must try this if you have not had it.
